Lisbon welcomes the first edition of Tribute of Techno, a festival that promises to bring together Techno Lovers looking for a total sensory immersion in 8 hours of techno madness at Pavilhão Carlos Lopes, next Saturday, March 4th. The festival doors open at 9 pm, the first set starts at 10 pm and the event ends at 6 am the following day.
The festival brings together big names from the international and national techno scene. Pioneering Italian techno star Sam Paganini, is one of the strong names of one of the world’s leading labels – DRUMCODE – and will demonstrate why he is Italy’s most respected DJ on the world techno scene, Brazilian Fernanda Martins, recognized for her special performances with a precise, detailed and explosive style arrives in Lisbon in full force for an unforgettable night for those present. Within the lineup, nationals also join Carlos Manaça, who over a 35-year career has become the most representative DJ in Portugal, DU/ART, a name that leaves no one indifferent with his pulse-pounding performances and unique character.
The queen of techno on national soil, Miss Sheila, who will bring her unmistakable sound to the Carlos Lopes Pavilion together with her balanced style and technique, I’Raphael, Sandro Martins, and Valter, are on the list of emerging artists and will show on the night of the 4th March the tremendous growth they have had within this industry.
In its debut, the Tribute of Techno festival presents a poster with a line-up betting on the best start of the New Season. Formed by 2 of the greatest exponents of the genre at an international level, the cream of the national dance scene, and the new generation of techno producers in our country, this Festival undoubtedly represents a unique musical vanguard of the electronic music scene in Portugal.
