Casino Estoril once again provided a great night of fado with two excellent fado singers Luís Capão and Cidália Moreia, with the show “Tudo Isto é Fado”, a high quality production by JP Beats and Artfeist – Produções Artísticas.
Luís Capão, winner of the Grande Noite do Fado de Lisboa, “Alentejano”, and one of the new voices of fado, who with his joy and talent quickly conquered the audience present in the room.
He sang fados such as “Tudo this e fado“, “Sou do fado“, “Saudades trago comigo” and “Canto o fado” in the company of three excellent musicians, Hugo Edgar on the Portuguese guitar, Pedro Morato on the fado guitar and Miguel Gelpi on the double bass.
Then came the great fado lady Cidália Moreira, one of the best voices in fado who, with her determination and involvement in singing, dazzled the audience, in a long-desired return to the stage.
He toasted the audience with “Primeiro amor”, “Miúdo da rua“, “Só a noite” and “Ela é Lisboa“.
This show pays homage to the great voices of fado, such as Alfredo Marceneiro, Carlos do Carmo and of course Amália Rodrigues, on a night that anyone who attended will surely remember.
Luís Capão then performed “Triste Fado” in honor of João Ferreira Rosa and Alfredo Marceneiro and later sang his own fado, “Fado é Nosso” with lyrics by Natália Valentim and music by Paulo de Carvalho and “O fado mora em Lisboa“.
O fadista convidou então Cidália Moreia para juntos cantarem “Ardinita” antes da fadista voltar a tomar o palco para cantar “Fiz do fado a minha sorte“, “Balada para uma velhinha” e “Ternura dos quarenta“.
Com a noite de fado a terminar do Auditório do Casino Estoril, Luís Capão ainda cantou “Noite cerrada” que dedicou a avó que sempre o apoiou, “Lisboa menina e moça” de Carlos do Carmo e Cidália Moreira “A lagrima” de Amália Rodrigues e “Mulher guitarra“.
O espetáculo volta a realizar-se hoje no Casino Estoril, se poder não falte.
The fado singer then invited Cidália Moreia to sing together “Ardinita” before the fado singer returned to the stage to sing “Fiz do fado a minha sorte“, “Balada para uma velhinha” and “Ternura dos quarenta“.
With the fado night ending at the Casino Estoril Auditorium, Luís Capão still sang “Noite cerrada” which he dedicated to his grandmother who always supported him, “Lisboa Menina e Menina” by Carlos do Carmo and Cidália Moreira “A lagrima” by Amália Rodrigues and “Mulher guitarra“.
