Tum Tá Tum Tum, Festa da Percussão is an innovative festival dedicated exclusively to percussion in its most varied resources and takes place in Carrazeda de Ansiães, on the 28th and 29th of July.
Already in its third edition, this unique initiative in the entire region of Trás-os-Montes and Douro continues to assume itself as a differentiating cultural event capable of also projecting the name of Carrazeda de Ansiães as a cultural destination.
The initiatives, centered on percussion, are very diverse: street performances, documentary cinema, Cajon workshops and traditional Portuguese percussion, street entertainment, and concerts. This programming design serves the purpose of publicizing national and international projects in this musical area.
Community intervention is a fundamental point of the event. Thus, Tum Tá Tum Tum, in addition to boosting various spaces in the village, will include local percussion groups in its programming in an interaction that has been taking place in all editions.
Free entrance.

Always Drinking Marching Band
This project came to life in the summer of 1997. Given the immediate success, they began an artistic career with the purpose of presenting street music animation with different characteristics and that was a fusion between the “Charangas”, the “Fanfares” and the “ Brassbands”.
As of 2009, they take their shows from the streets to the stage, creating new forms of musical entertainment where humor could not be missing.

Currently he is artistic director and co-founder member of Associação Bombos com Alma and author of Manual de Percussão Tradicional-Grau I Minho. 23:00 – Sanke World Music
SANKE was born as an intercultural musical encounter – the virtuoso multi-instrumentalist musician Aboubacar Sylla is the soul of this project, which he leads with kora, in a unique style that fuses his African roots with funk, flamenco or jazz. Living in Spain since 2001, he formed and integrated several projects, crossing traditional African instruments with European sounds. Sanke represents the universality of world music, where diversity meets to dialogue in a single language: music!
