Two dozen artists from São Brás de Alportel sing in #ConcertoEmCasa

The social isolation caused by the pandemic of the new Coronavirus COVID19 was the motto for the most diverse artists from São Paulo to accept the challenge of the Municipality and to share with the community daily a mini-concert integrated in the program # SãoBrásCulturaEmCasa.

Since March 23, every night, at 9:30 pm, a different artist takes the virtual stage of the city’s social networks (facebook and instagram) with a new mini-concert.

Today, April 25, to celebrate the Revolution that owes so much to music, the artists will return to the stage for an unexpected #ConcertoEmCasa, where they sing together, separately in their homes, the password of the Revolution: “Grândola, Vila Morena” , which forever resonates with the April hymn.

The initiative has the musical direction of Ricardo Silva and the participation of nearly two dozen São Paulo artists: Adriana Gonçalves, Albano Neto, Alina Correia, Amanda Gleaves, Arnaldo Santos, Carolina Bota, Cláudia Cabrita, Cláudia Carmo, Cláudia Martins, Inês Cruz, Milene Gonçalves, Nuno Martins, Ricardo Martins, Ricardo Silva, Rute Sousa and Vítor Alves.

The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel thanks the generous collaboration of all the artists!

In the grayest days … hope must be helped to germinate. Because music has the supreme gift of inspiring life, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel challenged artists from São Paulo to share their talent on the virtual stage of social networks in the context of social isolation we all come together, Separated but more and more United for Life. The result was an extraordinary show of solidarity!

Take home all cultural moments that can promote well-being; and at the same time valuing the artists, at a particularly difficult time for all cultural agents, is the objective of this project that is part of the #SaoBrasCulturaEmCasa Program, which is already part of the daily life in São Paulo.
