Two graphic fairs in Lisbon show new Portuguese production

In June and July, Lisbon hosts two cultural initiatives, Raia and Feira Gráfica de Lisboa, aimed at publicizing and promoting the latest production in graphic and visual arts in Portugal.

Raia will celebrate its fifth edition on June 26th and 27th, at Núcleo A70, with the participation of around 60 editorial, illustration and graphic arts projects.

Among the participants are the publishers Chili com Carne, Serrote, Umbra Edições or Xerefé, the Dois Ponto and Triciclo publications, the artists Elias Gato, Mariana Malhão and Carolina Celas, the projects Imprensa Canalha, O Homem do Saco, Oficina Arara and Oficina do Blind.

Exhibitions by Filipe Abranches, Eixa, Ratas Gráfikas and Vendo Oro are planned.

In July, the fourth Lisbon Graphic Fair will take place, which will occupy the garden of the Lisbon Museum – Palácio Pimenta on the 10th and 11th, with around 100 stalls of participants, such as Barricada de Livros, Douda Correria, Yuna Turva, Revista Prego and the publisher Pierre von Kleist.

Also at the Lisbon Gráfica Fair will be present the Triciclo project, Oficina Arara, Oficina Atalaia and Oficina do Cego.

Online editorial releases and two workshops for the youngest are also planned, by illustrators Joana Estrela and Mariana Malhão.
