Two-Time Winners is a nu-soul/r’n’b duo formed by Samuel Silva and João Sêco, musicians/producers who, after years of sharing experiences and stages, come together for the first time to create a original music.
“And the Award goes to”, the band’s debut EP, is released on the 25th, the same day it is performed live at the Casa da Cultura in Ílhavo. Diana Martinez and Marta Ren are very special guests at the concert.
“State of Emergency”, the first single from Two-Time Winners, written in collaboration with Canadian vocalist Owen O’Sound Lee, has a strong message, rising up against some of today’s biggest social injustices. It is a theme of protest, but also of hope.
