UHF are back on albums with Novas Canções de Bem Dizer.
Thus begins the celebration of the 45 years of uninterrupted career of the band from Almada and more news will follow in the coming weeks.
As António Manuel Ribeiro tells us, regarding these 45 years of career “getting here was a journey, it wasn’t a slide in a water park, sometimes it was even tough, and always very demanding. But the demand must start with us”.
António Manuel Ribeiro says about this album Novas Canções de Bem Dizer “I write about us, what I see is not always beautiful, rather sordid, sad and automatic”. In conclusion, “This album is like a mirror, it makes you think; forgetting is not a good solution.” She also adds “It’s an ironic, accurate, naughty album. This album is a revelation”.
Novas Canções de Bem Dizer is composed of 11 songs of which we all know the singles “Hey! Hey! ‘let’s go”, “A Primeira Noite Sem Ti” and “Eu Vou Ao Norte”. A fourth single called Indigente will be available simultaneously with the album.
Novas Canções de Bem Dizer is now available on platforms and in CD and Vinyl formats.
