Last general passes on sale and first concert already sold out. ANTHOLOGY by Jorge Palma conquers the fans.
A week after the announcement of the set of concerts commemorating the 50th anniversary of Jorge Palma’s career, “ANTOLOGIA“, there are few general passes available for sale. Remember that these give access to the six shows and include the offer of a cloth bag and a t-shirt. Individual tickets are still on sale. The first date scheduled for the Baldaya Palace Gardens, in Benfica, is already sold out.
Remember that Jorge Palma proposed to mark 50 years of career in a peculiar way. Between September and November, the musician and composer will make an anthological journey through his discography. The start of ANTOLOGIA is scheduled for September 25th, with the capacity already sold out.
On October 7, at the Tivoli BBVA Theater, Jorge Palma will revisit “Com Uma Viagem na Palma da Mão”, “’Té Já” and “Qualquer Coisa Pá Música”. On the 26th, on the same stage, the spotlight will be on”Acto Contínuo”, “Asas e Penas” and “Lado Errado da Noite”. On the 1st of November, also at the Tivoli BBVA Theater, “Quarto Minguante”, “Bairro do Amor” and “Jorge Palma (Proibido Fumar)” will be heard; and on the 8th, “Norte”, “Voo Nocturno” and “Com Todo o Respeito”. The six concerts that mark the 50th anniversary of the musician and composer end on November 19 at a long-desired meeting of Palma’s Gang at Cineteatro Capitólio.
In addition to his 12 unreleased albums, singles and EPs that are part of the history of Portuguese music, and will be revisited in this ANTOLOGIA, Jorge Palma will also remember “Só”, the album that immortalized some of his most beautiful songs in a raw record, from only voice and piano; and Palma’s Gang, which sublimates a more rock facet and demonstrates the mutability of his compositions with Jorge Palma, Alex, Flak and Kalú joining on the same stage for a longed-for reunion, in the show that appears to be the last episode of this series.
