Quique is tasked with leading the politics of deep Spain, in a village in Teruel, but he doesn’t know where to start. He faces alone a village willing to send him for a ride for its modern proposals and, as if this weren’t enough, he quickly discovers a plan by his girlfriend and the party leader to be together. He will only count on his goodwill and on Lourdes, the barmaid, who wants to prevent the poor man from continuing to look bad and who understands that the key to his success is learning to listen to his new neighbours.
