Upon Angels, the StayUpon Group’s most irreverent 4-star property, celebrates its 2nd anniversary this Thursday, July 17th, and takes the opportunity to introduce the new Signature Suites.
Located in Lisbon’s historic city centre, this disruptive, adults-only property challenges preconceptions and promotes an inclusive, relaxed, and fun environment for all guests, in a home where everyone is welcome.
As part of Upon Angels’ second anniversary celebration, the StayUpon Group introduces the new Signature Suites. These 25m2 studios feature a distinctive and versatile concept and were designed not only for accommodations but also as spaces for small private events and experiences. The suites were created with the idea of being essentially multifunctional. One of the central elements is the elevating bed, which allows the main area to be freed up and adapted to different uses, from massage sessions, couples’ therapy, bachelorette parties, intimate events, and even pop-ups, among others. Inside, Upon Angels’ irreverent identity has been maintained, with a strong presence of the colour red, making the atmosphere warmer, more provocative, and inviting.
“We’ve always been focused on offering more than just a stay for our guests, and today, two years after opening Upon Angels, we remain committed to maintaining this goal. Staying with us is a unique experience, where guests are challenged to awaken their senses,” explains Cecile Gonçalves, administrator of StayUpon Hospitality Group. He adds: “The new Signature Suites are visually striking and ideal for those seeking an unusual, versatile, and gender-neutral space. This unit, an ode to sensuality and eroticism, perfectly combines premium hospitality with an exclusive concept. Upon Angels was inspired by the vibrancy of the Intendente area and the bohemian energy of the Pigalle neighbourhood, the most sensual and touristy in Paris.”
The Upon Angels project, already awarded for its interior architecture by Mariana Torrão, in partnership with the company ARTEO, which created an exclusive iconographic line, is a chic and trendy space designed entirely by a team of five women. This feminine vision brought a distinctive approach and design to the project, with great attention to detail and a sensuality that exudes.
Upon Angels is also known for its calendar of irreverent experiences, which reinforce its positioning, combined with diversity. Drag Bingo sessions are scheduled for 9 p.m. on August 1st and 8th at Upon Angels Bar. Please note that these events require advance reservations and are limited to the venue’s capacity.
