Hybrid Theory, a Portuguese collective recognised as the largest tribute band to Linkin Park worldwide, opened the Meo stage, usually at festivals, where the audience is coming closer to the main concerts; this time, the audience was there to see them, with the open stage.
The band was formed in Lagos, in the Algarve, in late 2017, and was born of the desire to honour the iconic American band Linkin Park, especially after the tragic death of vocalist Chester Bennington.

His authenticity and vocal resemblance to the singer Chester Bennington have been worth a huge success. They can recreate Linkin Park’s energy, emotion and musical complexity in their live performances.
Hybrid Theory are
- Ivo Rosario: main voice (replicating the role of Chester Bennington)
- Pedro Passion: Voice / Guitar (replicating the role of Mike Shinoda)
- Miguel Martins: Guitar
- Nuno Bernardo: Bass
- Diogo Neuparth: Battery
- Daniel Pimenta: DJ / Samples / FX

Hybrid Theory are not limited to Portugal, has been conducting international gigs, bringing their show to countries such as Australia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Brazil and others. In 2024, they became the first tribute band to play at Rock in Rio Lisboa.
