Valen’Samba at Carnival
“Valen’Samba no Carnaval” is Valença’s invitation to a night of revelry, Saturday, February 10, at the Volunteer Firefighters Barracks.
We hope to repeat the memorable night of the 2023 edition, starting at 10:30 pm, with lots of magic full of color, music and joy. The organization invites you to put on your best costume and come and have fun. The theme of this edition is the jungle and promises to place this event as one of the great references of carnival in Alto Minho.
The party will be headlined by the group Vem Ser Feliz. This group is a reference in Portugal, in the interpretation of the most emblematic classics of Brazilian pagode and samba that promise to enchant and infect Valença.
The night will also feature lots of music by Zé Avècalhos and Jp Alcantara. The night will end on a high note with Valencians Pedro Pagodes and Pedro Lima.
The bars New Look Bar, Bar Quê?, Tzero Bar, Estação, Buraco and Eskina will be present on site.
The event has the support of the Valença City Council and will have a solidarity nature, with an entry fee of 5 euros, per person, going to the Valença Volunteer Firefighters.
