This is the third work by Valter Lobo, after the EP “Inverno” (2012) and the album “Mediterráneo” (2016), which begins to appear as a cult disc when it comes to writing Portuguese songs by independent artists and where “Guard me tonight”, “I wish” or “West” came from.

In “Primeira parte de um assalto” the singer presents a new set of themes that portray well the romanticized form of his vision of the world, always tempered by a melancholy well known by the growing number of admirers who feel the pulse of his songs and who make him one of the authors of his generation, and music scene, with more monthly listeners on Spotify, with a repercussion that has taken his music far beyond borders. Produced by Pedro Sousa Moreira, in a century-old windmill, it is accompanied by Jorge Moura on guitars and other instruments and features the unusual participation of Luís Nunes (Benjamim) on one of the themes.

The warm energy and magnetism of his live performances have earned him praise from many listeners and artists, including the Academy Award-winning Irish singer, Glen Hansard, who invited him to participate with his songs during his concerts .
