Vampire Weekend at Alive

North American band will present the new album on the stage of NOS Alive on July 12.

Vampire Weekend are the latest confirmation for the 13th edition of NOS Alive’19. The New York band will be on the NOS stage on July 12 to present the new album, which according to the band itself is already finalized and will be revealed soon to the fans, reveals the organization of the festival.

In 2008, Vampire Weekend broke the tops of the most important worldwide radios, with the debut album of the same name. Topics like ‘A-Punk’, ‘Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa’, ‘Mansard Roof’ and ‘Oxford Comma’ have assured the band a legion of fans.

After the success of the group’s first three albums, ‘Vampire Weekend’ (2008), ‘Contra’ (2010), and ‘Modern Vampires of the City’ (2013), the New York band sharpened the ‘appetite’ who are now waiting for the new album.

Ezra Koenig, in several interviews, has revealed some details of the next studio work and presented five themes last August in Chicago, in a peculiar way, with the singer putting a cellphone in the microphone, ending with the band playing in one of the new themes.

The live performance of the new album in Portugal is already scheduled for July 12 at NOS Alive’19.
