The song “Para Casa” is an open letter from Van Zee as he navigates his innermost being, where he openly shares his struggles and ambitions even if he has to row against the tide that fascinates him so much. This single features production, recording, mixing, and mastering by Nort, who has been following Van Zee’s latest releases.
The music video is directed by Henrique Seruca and was recorded on Madeira Island.
Van Zee, just 21 years old, is the prodigal son of Madeira Island who has dazzled fans from North to South of Portugal. The way in which the themes released in 2022 were received guided the direction of Van Zee, who in 2023 returned from Amsterdam, where he was studying, to dedicate himself 100% to music.
His debut concert on the continent took place in Aveiro, followed by concerts in Lisbon, Viseu, and Coimbra, which only served to confirm that we are facing one of the great promises of national music. Van Zee’s next concert will take place on the 14th of July at the Summer Opening Festival in Madeira.
