Vasco Branco honored in Aveiro

The celebration, between Friday and Sunday, includes an exhibition of painting and ceramics by Vasco Branco and an installation developed from his ceramic molds.

As a ceramist, he left several panels in public spaces, in Aveiro, but also in more distant places, such as Almeida Memorial Hospital, in Japan, another initiative of the celebrations being an itinerary for his public work, as well as a round table about his work. .

The cinema will also be present with two open-air sessions, in which live films of the author will be screened.

Vasco Branco’s literary dimension is also highlighted, with a shared reading of his dramatic texts and the launch of the book entitled Legendas da Cidade Salgada, which gives voice and image to the intimacy of man and work with the City of Aveiro.
