Vaudeville Rendez-vous returns from July 15th to 18th, 2026
The largest contemporary circus festival in the country brought more than seven thousand people to Barcelos, Braga, Guimarães, and Vila Nova de Famalicão.
The dates for the 2026 edition of the International Vaudeville Rendez-vous Festival are now announced. The largest contemporary circus festival in the country returns to Minho from July 15th to 18th.

In this 2025 edition, more than seven thousand people visited the cities of Barcelos, Braga, Guimarães, and Vila Nova de Famalicão to learn about the offerings of the most important national and international companies and participate in the workshops available.
The International Vaudeville Rendez-vous Festival, promoted by Teatro da Didascália, aims to showcase disruptive forms of public space, uniting the cities of Minas Gerais around culture for four days. In 2025, the festival, which began a new cycle with its 11th edition, also focused on accessibility and inclusion. For the first time, part of the program included Portuguese Sign Language interpretation, something Vaudeville intends to gradually extend to all its offerings.

The festival is currently a key reference in the cultural sector, showcasing established and emerging projects and enabling the exchange of experiences and knowledge among companies, artists, and programmers. Recognition of this work has led Teatro da Didascália to join international reference structures for contemporary circus, such as the Circusnext platform and the European cooperation project CircusLink.
