The cycle of musical shows Noites da Baía is back in Setúbal, with weekly Fado performances, tributes to renowned international musicians and a tribute to Amália Rodrigues and Carlos do Carmo.
The shows, performed by Portuguese musicians and bands, including from the region, take place between August 13th and September 10th, always from 9.30 pm, in the outdoor patio of Casa da Baía.
On the 13th, to open, the Sadina band Loosense will share with the audience instrumental jazz flavored with funk, hip-hop, gospel, soul and even improvisation, followed by a tribute to singer Bryan Adams, with the band Reckless, on the 20th .
On the 26th, 27th and 28th, Carlos do Carmo and Amália Rodrigues are honored by artists from the region in a set of duets that bring together Nuno Rocha and Amigos dos Sadinos, Deolinda de Jesus and Gonçalo Ferreira and Inês Pereira and Et Toi Michel.
In September, on the 3rd, there is a tribute to the rock band U2, with the national group The Fly.
The Noites da Baia closes on September 10th, with a night dedicated to Bon Jovi, with Keep the Faith.
The initiative, organized by Associação Baía de Setúbal with the support of the City Council, aims to qualify and diversify the offer of events in the city and liven up the summer nights at Casa da Baía.
Taking into account the current sanitary restrictions, the shows are held with a limited number of people. Tickets cost 7.5 euros.
