Via Verde joins Rock In Rio 2024 to take the public to the city of Rock

Less than a month before the 10th edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, the festival organization joins forces with Via Verde and ten other partners – Carris, CP, Metro, Fertagus, FlixBus, Rede Expressos, Gipsyy, TTSL – Transtejo Soflusa -, Carris Metropolitana and Telpark – in a sustainable mobility plan, which advises festival-goers to leave their car at home on festival days, opting for more sustainable alternatives, never forgetting safety and comfort.

The best alternatives to get to Parque Tejo are the use of public transport, since the streets in the vicinity of the festival will have access conditioned by the PSP, with circulation exclusively for residents, meaning there will be no parking nearby; or the parking option offered by Telpark parks (with pre-booking available), located in points such as Sete Rios, Roma, Oceanário, Alameda and Campolide, from where it will be possible to head towards the festival through the network of public transport partners .

This nationwide operation, which will involve more than 60 people, divided into shifts, allocated to the streets and accesses exclusively for public guidance, is the result of the collective effort of Rock in Rio and the ten mobility partners, to offer several travel options capable of meeting the needs of the public, with numerous advantages.
