VIII Gastronomic Fortnight of Aguardente DOC Lourinhã starts next week
The 8th edition of the Aguardente DOC Gastronomic Fortnight Lourinhã takes place on November 14 and 24, an initiative promoted by the Lourinhã City Council in partnership with the winery Cooperativa da Lourinhã and Quinta do Rol producers and various catering establishments, aiming at, once again, promote what is considered one of the top three spirits in the world.
As in previous years, the Aguardente DOC Lourinhã is once again the highlight of a diverse range of gastronomic dishes created especially for the event, which can be tasted in 13 participating restaurants in the municipality of the village of the Western sub-region.
In addition to the restoration component, the event will also feature activities open to the public, upon prior registration, such as the usual visit to the Lourinhã Cooperative Winery, where tasting of brandy and tasting of products with Aguardente DOC Lourinhã will be held, on November 16th, from 15h30, by registration (adega.lourinha@gmail.com / 261422107) and, on November 23rd, at 16h, at Espaço Sabores Lourinhã, there will be a demonstration of confectionery techniques with Aguardente DOC Lourinhã, followed by tasting (also upon prior registration). On the 24th of next month, visitors will also be able to participate in the Aguardente DOC Lourinhã Trail.
