Vilar de Mouros poster is already complete
The British The Cult and the Portuguese groups Tape Junk and Jarojupe complete the poster of the festival of music of Vilar de Mouros, marked for August in the locality minhota, was announced today.
The festival will run from August 22 to 24, with The Cult performing the first day along with the Tape Junk. The Jarojupe, “the oldest rock band of the Minho”, play on the last day.
These three names are joined by a poster that includes, among others, Manic Street Preachers, Anna Calvi, The Offspring, Skunk Anansie, Linda Martini, Killing Joke, The Wedding Present, The Sisters Of Mercy, The House Of Love, Gang Of Four and Fischer-Z, spread over two stages.
According to the organization, on the first day of the festival, the Banda Lanhelense Musical Society will perform.
This year, the organization will include two new platforms and better access for people with reduced mobility, and will also reinforce the availability of free bicycles between Caminha and the festival grounds.
At the environmental level, tents made of cardboard will be installed, there will be a system for reusing the water from the showers for the toilets, and a composting center and a collection center will be placed in the center of Caminha.
The area of the concert venue will be increased to twenty thousand square meters and the camping area will be raised to accommodate another thousand tents.
