Vilar de Mouros will have drive-in for music, cinema and comedy
In the months of July, August and part of September, between 10 different sets of initiatives, concerts and shows with figures from the music and the national stand-up comedy, a drive-in in the space and on the dates of the festival of Vilar de Moors, and even musical entertainment for nursing homes.
One of the outstanding initiatives will be the program “Village People“, with eight concerts between July and September with places marked in the two villages of the municipality: Tiago Bettencourt singing Bob Dylan, The Legendary Tigerman, Uxia, the band from the film ‘Variações‘, Daniel Pereira Cristo, Toy singing Elton John, and local artists Natalia Camargo and Francisco Presa, and Elsa Gomes.
“Cultura de Rua“, are other of the initiatives scheduled for the next two months and that foresees 30 street moments, with circus arts, artistic performance, magic, fireworks, theater, music, which will take place in July and August, anywhere in the municipality of Caminha, at any time.
On the dates of the mythical summer festival in Caminha, the host parish will receive animation. The drive-in in Vilar de Mouros will take place in the week that would normally be the festival, in the same venue. We will have a program, to be released soon, with live music, DJ’s, cinema, shows for children and stand-up comedy.
During the summer season, an itinerant library, installed in a 4L vehicle, will run around the municipality, mainly in squares, tourist areas and beaches. A “Caldo Verde” theater play will also be premiered by the Krisalida group, an art exhibition by Pedro Cabrita Reis (Serralves) will be held, and photographic safaris, horse and boat trips, thematic walking routes, road trips from Caminha to São João d’Arga.
