After announcing the artists for the 4th edition, Vinculum Festival is back with news: the organisation has just revealed the daily schedule for the event, in addition to a series of activations that precede the festival.
Among them, three special events in Porto and Madrid — the first of which took place on May 24th at GARE, in Porto, with DOLD as the main attraction.
Taking place between July 10th and 13th, at Parque das Merendas do Monte da Senhora da Graça (Mondim de Basto), Vinculum establishes itself as a meeting place for electronic music, nature, territory and community. With 29 performances and a curatorship that crosses different strands of techno and experimental music, this year’s edition will be spread over four days, offering a deep and diverse sound and sensory experience.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, July 10th, with performances by André Cascais, Carmen (live), Gusta-vo, Holden Federico, Human Safari and Nastia Reigel. On Friday, July 11th, ASEC (live), Cecilia Tosh, Dawn Dani, DJ Nobu, Ferro + Vølt, GiGi FM, Talismann and Tauer will take the stage. On Saturday, July 12th, Akua, Backbone, James Ruskin, Nørbak (live), Ruuar, Sepypes, Shed vs Head High and Sybil will perform. Closing the festival on Sunday, July 13th, Amulador, Forest Drive West, Garçon, James Grouper, KIA, and upsammy will perform. To prepare for the arrival at Monte da Senhora da Graça, Vinculum is proposing a series of ritual events in two cities: on May 24th, they were with DOLD + Backbone + James Grouper at Gare Porto. GLAMPING BY DOMOCAMP
The glamping village returns to Vinculum with more comfort and exclusivity: real beds, bedding, fans, refrigerators and now a private bathroom and shower for this area. Check-in is available one day before the festival.
CONCEPTUAL Pilates
Joana Freitas proposes a Pilates session at the venue. It is an invitation to the body to listen, to align breathing and presence before dancing.
DA LUA HERBALS Workshop
Workshop with Irene Miranda on natural incense and smudging. Participants learn how to harvest and transform native plants into aromatic and conscious rituals.
FILMES AOS MONTES
A new rest area with screenings of short films selected by the Filmes aos Montes project. A space for contemplation that reinforces the artistic and sensorial component of the festival. The organisation also announces the opening of a call until June 15, aimed at all those who explore cinema outside the margins: original works of up to 15 minutes — experimental film shorts or video art.
