Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinhas Velhas, Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinha da Francisca, Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinha do Rio, and Vale D. Maria Vinha de Martim were the four wines recognised.
Quinta Vale D. Maria wines have just been recognised in the prestigious international ranking “Great Wines of the World 2025,” which annually recognises the best wines in the world.
“These distinctions are the result of Quinta Vale D. Maria’s philosophy, which is based on preserving old vines, over 80 years old, producing wines with unique identity and character,” emphasises Diogo Campilho, Director of Winemaking.
In the “50 Great Red Wines of the World” category of this renowned competition, Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinhas Velhas 2022 and Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinha da Francisca 2022 are ranked with 94 points. With 95 points, Quinta Vale D. Maria Vinha do Rio 2022 also earned the attention of the international jury.
Regarded for its meticulous selection and blind tastings conducted by a panel of industry experts, the competition also selected Vale D. Maria Vinha de Martim 2022 as one of the “50 Great White Wines of the World,” with 92 points.
“Our commitment to excellence is reflected in each of Quinta Vale D. Maria’s wines, made possible only by the dedication and passion of our viticulture and winemaking teams,” concludes Diogo Campilho.
The wines from Quinta Vale D. Maria, which are part of this Vineyard Collection, tell, in each bottle, the story of a unique terroir, where respect for nature is combined with tradition and innovation.
