Buba Espinho invited the Bandidos do Cante to a great night of Cante at the Centro Cultural de Belém, where Alentejo was King for one night.
Buba Espinho continues to enchant audiences with Cante Alentejano, with the melancholic and romantic songs, which characterize the plains of southern Portugal, and which on November 27, 2014, UNESCO considered an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Known for his distinctive voice and his fusion of folk, pop and jazz influences, he released two albums, Buba Espinho (2020) and Voltar (2023), having collaborated with other artists such as António Zambujo, D.A.M.A and Raquel Tavares. He became known for participating in and winning the first TV show The Voice Portugal edition in 2014.
The sold-out CCB was too small for everyone who wanted to hear and see him, in a concert where there was no shortage of “Casa”, a hit he shares with D.A.M.A, and “Roubei-te Um Beijo”, which he sings with another big name in Portuguese music António Zambujo.
The CCB experienced one of the most beautiful nights, with Cante showing all its strength and vitality, full of talented young people, who enchanted the public, who followed them in the fashions, the show outside, connoisseurs and many, proudly Alentejo, who sang into the night the beautiful songs of Buba.
As guests he had the Bandidos do Cante who with him sang “Um dia hei-de Voltar”, “Menina estás à Janela” and “Não é tarde nem cedo“ among others.
Bandidos do Cante, is an Alentejo singing group formed by Buba Espinho and some of his friends who sing traditional and original Alentejo songs, with influences from other musical genres, such as fado, pop and jazz.
They have participated in several television programs, but are best known for their song with D.A.M.A “É o que é“, a group that values and promotes Alentejo culture, with a unique sound and contagious energy.
A fantastic night with the signature Incubadora D’Artes, with the Cante conquering Lisbon.
