Viva o Samba, founded in 2015 by musicians Cícero and Humberto Mateus, has always aimed to promote the Brazilian musical culture of excellence in Portuguese lands.
Samba, the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by Unesco, is culturally rich and joyful that captivates and ennobles with its wealth and the group Viva o Samba brings together 13 musicians on the same stage, from voice, percussion, viola, banjo, mandolin, cavaquinho, violin, and harmonica to one of the most iconic stages in the capital on September 6.
Join a grand concert that aims to add Samba’s contagious joy, with the power of inclusion and solidarity, and help preserve and spread the Samba tradition in Portugal.
