It seems that Volkswagen does not intend to give the green light to the ID Buggy, a project that would result in the production of an electric vehicle inspired by the iconic vehicle.
Even though the ID Buggy project was put in the drawer, Volkswagen still intends to bet convincingly on the electric market and Brandstatter pointed to the development of the ID1 hatchback and the compact ID 2 crossover.
