Volkswagen is present at the Smart Store Iberdrola with its new electric models

This post is also available in: Português (Portuguese (Portugal))

Volkswagen is present at the Iberdrola Smart Store by making the new ID.3 and ID.4 available to everyone who wants to experience more sustainable mobility. The partnership with the leading renewable energy company reinforces Volkswagen’s position in the electric mobility market.

The rotating infrastructure inaugurated today, July 2, in Matosinhos, is based on a model of energy sustainability and completely adapted to electric mobility. Powered by green energy, connected to Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things systems, this infrastructure allows a glimpse of a house in the near future. Thus, Volkswagen associates with Iberdrola as the ideal supplier of sustainable mobility, through actions of driving experience and, also, simulations of charging of state-of-the-art electric vehicles, as in the cases of ID.3 and ID.4.

The opportunity to contribute to an electric mobility that reduces CO2 emissions has even more advantages during the week when the ID.3 and ID.4 will be available in Matosinhos: Volkswagen offers 200€ in energy on an Iberdrola card to those who buy an electric model at that location.

These two 100% electric models, built on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform, offer autonomy of 420 km and 520 km, respectively, in addition to several cutting-edge safety and interactivity technologies.

“Volkswagen accelerated its electric offensive through the launch of ID.3 and, later, ID.4. Two 100% electric vehicles that contribute to a more sustainable mobility and that reinforce environmental protection from the production process through processes criteria that allow us to reduce and avoid CO2 emissions. Therefore, it makes perfect sense to partner with Iberdrola through this Smart Store that shows how green energy, electric mobility and artificial intelligence combine as pillars of the sustainability model for the near future“, says Marília Machado dos Santos, General Director of Volkswagen.
