Soltour’s first flight to Sal Island, in Cape Verde, departed from Humberto Delgado Airport yesterday, June 28th. Until September 13, the tour operator will have weekly charter flights from Lisbon and Porto to the islands of Sal and Boa Vista.
Later this week, today, the 30th, the operator’s first direct charter flight to Samaná, in the Dominican Republic will depart from Lisbon – an exclusive Soltour operation, which will be in effect every Friday until September 8th.
The island of Sal, in Cape Verde, received yesterday, the first Soltour flight in this summer season, which foresees full operations to some of the best destinations in the world.
Direct flights to the island of Sal will be operated by Smartwings every Wednesday, from June 28th to September 13th, with 189 seats. The operation departs from Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon, and from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, in Porto, with a destination to Amílcar Cabral International Airport. Direct flights to the island of Boa Vista will be operated by TAP from Humberto Delgado Airport, in Lisbon, and by Smartwings from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, in Porto, with destination Aristides Pereira International Airport, in Rabil, on the island of Boa Vista. Flights will operate every Tuesday from June 27th to September 12th.
In this way, Soltour reaffirms its commitment to Cape Verde. This year, on the sidelines of the Lisbon Tourism Exchange, the tour operator signed an agreement with the Cape Verde Tourism Institute aimed at promoting tourism in the archipelago. Thanks to these direct flights, Soltour will take many Portuguese travelers to two destinations that remain highly popular in the national market. Next stop: Samana
Samaná, in the Dominican Republic, is the next destination on Soltour’s calendar. With a direct weekly operation in effect until the 8th of September, the inaugural flight departs from Lisbon on the 30th of June. Flights will be operated by World2Fly in a comfortable and spacious A350 aircraft every Friday.
