Waversby Round honors surfers with the best performances in round 3
The Waversby Round award is one of the novelties of the 2023 MEO Surf League, which rewards the best sports performance in round 3 in each stage, in a mixed dispute between the male and female divisions, and thus seeking to find the best performance in one of the most competitive phases of each stage of the 1st division of Portuguese surfing.

In addition to the performances of the surfers at this stage of the competition, Somersby combines moments of relaxation, fun, and socializing so typical of the surfing community and which usually happen after a day of competition or a free surf session accompanied by a cold cider.
In the four stages already held, there were always different winners, which reflects the important incentive of the brand, as all surfers do their best to win this parallel prize.

Of course, our goal in the championships is to reach the final and win, but this prize in Round 3 also gives us a boost not only in terms of incentive in the water to become more competitive with each other but also financially it is a good help. The next dispute for the Wavesby Round prize will take place at the Bom Petisco Peniche Pro, the fifth and final stage of the 2023 MEO Surf League, which will take place from the 27th to the 29th of October in Peniche. In addition to the fight for the prize, this last stage will serve to define the titles of male and female national champions.
