The year 2023 will be a turning point for WAZE. The new single “Só Nós Os Dois”, which has just been made available on all digital platforms, is the first step revealed in this change. The song will be featured on the rapper’s new album, which will be released this year.
“Só Nós Os Dois” mixes hip-hop sensuality with an inherent Portugueseness in the guitar of Nuno Ribeiro, who also produced the single. In the words of the artist, “Só Nós Os Dois” was “inspired by the feeling of comfort and peace that I found when I found my better half.”
This is WAZE’s first new theme since “Desce do Céu”, released last year. Over the last year, the rapper released several successful singles: the aforementioned “Desce do Céu” (whose original version has more than 580 thousand views and the acoustic version more than 140 thousand, reaching #67 in the top YouTube trends), “Colete Anti-Bala” (which reached #2 on the iTunes Portugal top and #66 on YouTube) and even “Mbappé”.
In 2022, the singles “Última Vez”, “Desce do Céu”, “Colete Anti-Bala” and “Mbappé” accumulated more than 1.6 million streams and more than 1.5 million views.
Now with “Só Nós Os Dois”, WAZE is preparing to start a dazzling phase of its journey and continue to mark national hip hop.
