Exhibition – We got Soul by João Samina
Opening on May 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
WE GOT SOUL is a reflection of the artist on what can be the incorporeal essence of the human being. The soul (SOUL) comprises the mental abilities of the human being such as reason, character, feeling, consciousness, memory, thought, etc. A kind of presence that gives each one its unique character regardless of race, gender, belief or culture. You can not see it, but sit! Something that really defines the US, while the body is the only mechanism to live that identity.
In this exhibition, SAMINA presents a set of original works as well as some digital prints and screenprints. In this group of works, new places were visited, both in the search for progression on aesthetics already arising in their work and in the exploration of new compositional elements and dialogue.
SAMINA is a multidisciplinary artist based on mural painting. Master’s degree in architecture currently divides his time between Portugal and Brazil. He has produced murals all over the country as well as occasionally in other countries such as Spain, Turkey, India, Brazil, the United States, among others. He has already exhibited works in Portugal, Germany, Belgium, and France. And it has worked with brands such as NIKE, Heineken or Super Bock.
