The Web Summit is back at Parque das Nações and had important national and international presences.
The opening session, which took place yesterday, November 1, at 5 pm and ended at 8 pm, was attended by Carlos Moedas, the Mayor of Lisbon, Pedro Siza Vieira, Minister of Economy, Filomena Cautela, presenter of RTP and of course Paddy Cosgrave.
Also present were Frances Haugen, Facebook’s whistleblower, Nicolas Julia, Sorare co-founder and CEO, Libby Liu, Whistleblower Aid CEO, Laurie Segall, Dot Dot Dot Media founder and CEO, and Ayọ (fka Opal) Tometi, co founder of Black Lives Matter.
Altice Arena opened for another edition in Portugal and had a full house, and ends next Thursday.
