Web Summit in Portugal until 2028

Co-founder and CEO, Paddy Cosgrave reaffirmed the presence of the Web Summit in Portugal until 2028

Paddy Cosgrave, denied rumors that the 2021 edition would be the last in Portugal, adding that Lisbon will continue to be his ‘home’, at least until 2028.

“Don’t believe everything you read on social media. We will be here until 2028. It has been a dream and we are looking forward to the next seven years,” said Cosgrave in an interview with Renascença.

Cosgrave also stated, in the same statements, that when the Web Summit arrived in Lisbon, he felt that the Portuguese capital was “the neglected child of Europe”, now it is “the most desired child”.
