The Portuguese-Guinean actor, now also a director, returns to the Berlin International Film Festival for the fourth time, with ‘Mudança’
The film ‘Mudança‘, a short film is the debut of Welket Bungué as a director and will be present in the Expanded Forum section of the Berlin International Film Festival, a film that has the participation of Joacine Katar Moreira and tells the story of the essential workers who did not stop working during the pandemic.
Welket Bungué is the fourth time he participates in the Berlinale, he was part of the cast of ‘Cartas de Guerra‘, by Ivo M. Ferreira, nominated in 2016 for the Golden Bear. In 2017 with ‘Joaquim‘, by Marcelo Gomes, also nominated for the Golden Bear, in 2020, he participated in the film ‘Berlin Alexanderplatz‘, by Burhan Qurbanicomo, as the protagonist.
