WhatsApp continues to grow and has surpassed Facebook

The report indicates that the messaging app has increased the number of monthly active users by 30% between January 2017 and December 2018.

The application of WhatsApp messages has surpassed Facebook with regard to monthly active users. Apple’s latest report says that over 180 million people around the world use WhatsApp every month.

The report indicates that WhatsApp had a 30% increase in the number of users between January 2017 and December 2018. Instagram showed even greater growth over the same period with 35%. On the other hand, Facebook and Messenger have remained in the 20% and 15% growth in the number of users.

WhatsApp now cements its place in popular apps, making it the most popular application in territories like Brazil, Canada, Germany, India and the United Kingdom.
