Wine House Hotel at Quinta da Pacheca continues to win awards for the excellence of its wine tourism
Quinta da Pacheca and the Wine House Hotel continue to receive awards for the excellence of the wine tourism they offer in the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region.
This time, the leading tourism publication, Publituris, awarded the prize for “Best Wine Tourism” at the Portugal Travel Awards ceremony.
A centuries-old estate bathed by the Douro, Quinta da Pacheca, always renowned for the quality of its fortified wines and, later, table wines, decided in the middle of the last decade to make a strong commitment to the development of wine tourism, as a result of the vision of its owners who identified the Douro as a region with great attractiveness for developing charming tourism and authentic experiences.

Quinta da Pacheca’s awards also include the award for absolute Portuguese winner of the “Best of Wine Tourism” awards, a worldwide competition promoted by the “Rede de Capitais de Grandes Vinhedos – Great Wine Capitals Global Network”. Within the scope of this same competition, Quinta da Pacheca also holds six other distinctions.
The Portuguese specialist magazines – Revista de Vinhos and Grandes Escolhas – also awarded the Best Wine Tourism Award to Casa da Pacheca, as did the Boa Cama, Boa Mesa Guide, published by the Expresso newspaper.
