Wine & Music Valley Festival

The 1st Festival that celebrates wine, gastronomy and music will take place on 14 and 15 September, in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world – the banks of the Douro River.

Wine & Music Valley, the first major festival entirely inspired by wine, will be on the banks of the Douro River in September. It will take place in the Commercial Port of Cambres in Lamego on September 14 and 15, and intends to be an experience of the musical and gastronomic junction, with the aim of contributing to the development of wine tourism in the Douro Demarcated Region.

The Wine & Music Valley will be annual, national and international, aiming to generate economic and tourist impact for the region, with the capacity to receive 15 thousand people per day, thinking about wine lovers, valuing moments of union and conviviality.

The musical proposals are also strong, with the first day’s poster already complete, Bryan Ferry, formerly Roxy Music, will be the poster head. But they are also present, Mariza, António Zambujo, Salvador Sobral, DJ Vibe and Rui Vargas.

There will also be a Chef’s Stage, where the public can watch gastronomic moments with renowned chefs, live cooking shows and tastings. It will also have a premium dining area, meeting in an air-conditioned space with seating.

The festival also has a hospitality area with group cabins, wine and sensory experiences, such as wine tastings and vinotherapy treatments, but you can also try treading grapes. There will also be a Ferris wheel with a panoramic and privileged view over the Douro.

Wine & Music Valley has production support from Better World, the company responsible for Rock in Rio. You can buy tickets from June 18, from € 25 a day or two days for € 40.
