Taking place on March 18 and 19, 2022, the new edition of Wine2Help is now free: instead of paying for the ticket, the organization invites subscribers to make a donation for emergency support to Ukraine or to Johnson’s Academy
The Wine2Help online symposium returns this year, with dates scheduled for March 18th and 19th. Under the motto “Creating Value for the Future”, the initiative will seek to debate the topic, as well as share tools, experiences and knowledge that allow sector agents to continue to create value for Portuguese wine – in the national and international markets.
Initially, the event was scheduled to take place on a paid ticket system. However, given the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine, the organization decided to make Wine2Help a free event – albeit subject to prior registration. Participants are invited to channel the value of the ticket to one of several emergency support campaigns for Ukraine – Unicef, UN Crisis Relief, Sunflower of Peace – or to Johnson’s Academy, a non-profit organization that helps around 200 children in the neighbourhoods. da Cova da Moura and Zambujal, which Wine2Help has been supporting.
The symposium will take place in webinar format, via Zoom, exclusively for registered participants. Enrollment can be done here.
“We could not remain indifferent to the humanitarian emergency in Ukraine. In difficult terms like these, it is also the responsibility of each of us to find ways to support those who need it most. This is ours”, explains Rodrigo Quina, organizer of the event.
