Wolf Alice return to Portugal in 2022
Wolf Alice have just announced the European Tour with a stop in Lisbon on March 3, 2022.
It is the first time since 2018 that Wolf Alice returns to act in their own name – the year they were also at the Coliseu dos Recreios for the last time.
The British band, formed in 2010 by Ellie Rowsell, Joff Oddie, Theo Ellis and Joel Amey, returns to the road with ‘Blue Weekend’. After the success of the award-winning ‘Visions Of A Life’ – which took them to tour countless months -, the band needed to put the brakes on and settle on an Airbnb in Somerset, to reconfigure themselves and discover who they are without the hustle and bustle of life on the road.
During this period they not only cemented the friendship they nurtured with each other, but began to work on some demos that would eventually evolve into ‘Blue Weekend’, the new album released on June 11th and produced by Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk , Brian Eno, Florence + The Machine). Markus helped the band further refine their sound, accompanied by Rowsell’s personal narrative, which makes Wolf Alice embrace a new daring and vulnerability in equal weight and measure.
The long-awaited return of Wolf Alice to Portugal is then scheduled for March 3, 2022, at Coliseu dos Recreios.
