Bee Engineering is a technological partner of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC), in its national edition.
They developed Spin by Nectar Interactive, a digital platform that generates engagement, entertains, and distributes prizes among participants in one of the world’s largest corporate golf events. It will take place from May 29, in five stages with the participation of more than 400 people. The personalized experience was developed by Nectar Interactive, the video game unit of the Innovation and Technology company.
Spin by Nectar Interactive allows WCGC participants to enjoy a digital experience after completing each stage. Using their mobile phones, they qualify to win prizes promoted by the event’s partners. The technological experience represents the innovation of a process, which is now more fun, customizable and which follows the norms of social distance in effect.
Based on video game concepts, it is the first platform developed by the Bee Engineering unit for the sport area. Its advergames, hyper casual games, gamification solutions have already impacted brands and services of companies in sectors such as retail, energy, entertainment and logistics.
WCGC is a competition that combines Golf, leisure and networking. Started in 1993 in the United Kingdom with the support of The Times, it is one of the largest worldwide Corporate events of this sport, held in 34 countries, with more than 3000 participating companies and media coverage of more than 60 TV channels, 50 publications and also the surroundings 16 airlines.
Portugal hosts, from 1 to 5 November, the 28th edition of the World Final at the Oitavos Dunes, in Cascais .. The national tournament receives more than 80 participants in each of the five stages: Santo da Serra, Madeira island (29 May) ; Mounted, Palmela (18 June); Axis Ponte de Lima (26 June); Morgado do Reguengo, Portimão (3 July); Final at West Cliffs, Óbidos (31 July).
