Worten keeps stores open to ensure immediate needs and offers deliveries

The responsible authorities consider the products and services provided by Worten to be essential goods, in the sense that they remain very important for Portuguese families to face this new way of living day to day.

Based on this opinion, Worten keeps its stores in operation, even at reduced hours. Exception made to Worten Mobile stores, which will temporarily close from today, March 24.

The service provided to the customer will not be affected, since these stores are located very close to other Worten stores, which are typically larger and also sell telecommunications products, and are better prepared to comply with the new safety and protection standards for customers and employees.

By keeping the stores open, Worten intends to “respond to the most immediate and urgent needs of customers, who want to buy a product, without being able to wait for delivery times, or request technical assistance for a product that, in the meantime, has broken down”, he explains Inês Drummond Borges, Marketing Director at Worten.

In parallel, for the brand it makes sense to bet, more and more, on an omnichannel strategy in which physical and online complement each other. And, in fact, in this exceptional period that we all go through, buying on is a preferred option for many Portuguese. With that in mind, Worten has just launched a multi-media campaign, involving digital, TV, online, social networks and SMS, offering free home deliveries for all purchases over € 25, made at its online store, until April 20.

For general clarifications, Worten suggests contacting the Customer Service Line, preferably through the address, to minimize waiting times, but whose team is also available on 210 155 222.
