Worten presents Live Stream photography workshops with Canon

Until August 12th, diverse themes: pets, family, travel, among others, live stream on Worten's Facebook

Worten will hold free live stream photo workshops in partnership with Canon, starting tomorrow, July 23

Worten rejoins forces with Canon to carry out a cycle of photography workshops, this time in an unprecedented format: it will be in a live stream on Worten’s Facebook, based on a weekly calendar that starts tomorrow, Thursday, and extends until August 12th. Dedicated to photography enthusiasts who want to learn more from experts in the field, this set of sessions will cover topics as diverse as family photography or travel photography.

Four live stream sessions on Worten Facebook

The first workshop will take place tomorrow at 3 pm, and will be hosted by Joel Santos. Photographer, videographer, journalist, producer of more than 50 television documentaries, author of nine photography books – including the best seller “FOTOografia” – and winner of the Travel Photographer of the Year (2016) and Photojournalism BES / VISÃO Natureza (2005), Joel Santos will dedicate his session to the theme of travel photography, teaching participants to tell the story of their trip through the camera.

This is followed by the workshop dedicated to family photography, which takes place on July 30, also at 3 pm, and which will be hosted by documentary photographer Marisa Martins. This professional tells the story of Portuguese families through photography, showing the small details of their daily lives, in real life images that are a piece of the history of each family.

The third workshop will take place on August 6, at 3 pm, and will have two invited hosts: Rúben Diogo and Paula Ribeiro. Authors of the well-known Bunch of Dogs page, these photographers portray their live stream session on a modality as special as pet photography, which they use daily not only to record the best moments of their dogs but also to promote adoption of animals.

The fourth and last workshop of this cycle, promoted in partnership with Canon, will take place on August 12, at 3 pm, and will be hosted by Tiago Sales. Professional photographer for eight years, Tiago Sales is passionate about creating authentic and original moments, capturing them as they unfold. Your live stream session will be dedicated to photo editing.

Seeking to meet the expectations of the Portuguese, especially fans of photography, Worten promotes, thus exclusively, with Canon, another activation action, this time entirely digital, where the participants can win a Canon EOS camera M50 worth 750 €. This cycle of workshops is entirely free to participate and does not require prior registration. Don’t be left out!

In parallel with this activation on Facebook, Worten promotes, from 23 July to 12 August, a thematic campaign on the theme of photography, one of the strategic axes of the brand, where it presents the best products to achieve the perfect image, always at best prices. This campaign will be published on worten.pt.
