WOW Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Shared Experiences, At the Table and Beyond
On Valentine’s Day, WOW invites you to celebrate love with experiences designed to be enjoyed as a couple. Between exclusive menus in five restaurants, sensory workshops, and toasts with privileged views of Porto, the cultural quarter promises to be the ideal setting for a memorable day.
On February 14th, five WOW restaurants will present Valentine’s Day menus created exclusively for the occasion, with options ranging from haute cuisine to traditional dishes to share. It’s a commitment to gastronomy, celebrating the pleasure of being at the table.

With breathtaking views over the Douro River and the Luís I Bridge, 1828 offers a leisurely gastronomic experience, where Chef Silvina Coelho’s cuisine is combined with carefully considered wine pairings. The menu includes artisanal focaccia, parsnip cream, slow-cooked beef rib, the exclusive “1828 Cut,” and a 70% cocoa chocolate dessert, accompanied by Taylor’s Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) Port wine.
Golden Catch and Root & Vine propose a celebration where the sea and the land meet, with a menu that includes tuna tartare with oyster, salmon sashimi, entrecôte to share, and a fresh raspberry and lemon verbena dessert. Sophisticated offerings, designed to awaken the senses through careful combinations full of details – ideal for disconnecting from screens and prolonging conversations.

Traditional flavours, for two or with family
At T&C, the table becomes a meeting place. The menu celebrates Portuguese cuisine, the intensity of flavours, and the art of sharing dishes, with appetisers to share, slow-cooked veal cheek, white chocolate and mint dessert, and a wine pairing that includes wines from Bairrada and Croft Pink Port.
With a privileged view of the Douro River, VP invites you to celebrate in the comfort of the restaurant’s interior, with a menu that includes a low-temperature egg, roasted sea bass, duck breast, and a chocolate mousse with salted caramel, finished with Croft LBV Port.

Alternatively, PIP maintains its regular à la carte service for those who prefer a more informal and relaxed atmosphere. Ideal, for example, for couples with families who want to bring their little ones along, to celebrate love completely.
All customers who choose to dine at WOW on Valentine’s Day receive a 20% discount at Angel’s Share bar, the ideal place to end the night, with cocktails and privileged views of the city of Porto.

Workshops: Sensory Experiences Together
For those seeking something different, WOW offers two themed workshops at The Chocolate Experience museum, ideal for sharing. “Chocolate and Port Wine Pairing” is a guided experience exploring combinations of selected chocolates and different styles of Port wine, in a sensory journey designed for two. The suggestion “Learn to Taste Chocolate” is a workshop that teaches you how to get the most pleasure from chocolate tasting, discovering aromas, textures, and origins in a conscious and shared way.

WOW also suggests the special Chocolate & Sparkle visit to The Chocolate Experience Museum, with chocolate tasting, a lollipop decorating workshop, and chocolate and Port wine pairing. “Exclusively on the 14th, the museum visit will have a series of different experiences to provide an experience that appeals even more to the senses. It’s perfect for visitors who are passionate about each other and about chocolate,” adds Pedro Araújo, master chocolatier and director of the museum.
Also, to surprise your soulmate, the cultural quarter offers a limited edition box of chocolates from Vinte Vinte, the bean-to-bar brand created with passion and expertise in Vila Nova de Gaia.
