Today is World Photography Day and Xiaomi has just launched a competition where it will offer a Xiaomi 12X smartphone and three Xiaomi Smart Band 7.
Today is World Photography Day and with it, we honor this art that unites us and allows us to create and share memories.
To mark this day, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Summer Stories contest on its Instagram account, which invites its followers to share their best photos and stories from this summer.
To participate, just follow @xiaomi.portugal on Instagram, have your Instagram account public and share a photo on your Instagram feed identifying Xiaomi in the post and the hashtag #XiaomiSummerStories in the description.
The three best photographs and descriptions will be chosen by the brand and will receive:
- A Xiaomi 12X smartphone and a Xiaomi Smart Band 7 for the top spot;
- A Xiaomi Smart Band 7 for second place;
- A Xiaomi Smart Band 7 for third place.
The competition started today, August 19th at 00:00, and ends on August 31st at 23:59. Winners will be contacted by the brand, via private message on Instagram, until September 10, 2022.
The history of Photography
Looking at the history of photography we discover that on the first date of 1826 – the image was captured during eight hours by the Frenchman Joseph Nicéphore Niépce who managed to engrave on a tin plate an image of the backyard of his house.
