Xutos & Pontapés celebrate 45 years at Queimódromo Porto
September 14th
1 month away from celebrating 45 years of the “evil life” of Xutos & Pontapés.
The biggest Portuguese rock band will parade their biggest hits at Porto’s Queimódromo on a special date – Zé Pedro’s birthday. 45 years ago, at the end of the 70s, a group of four members appeared to give voice to rock sung in Portuguese. Xutos e Pontapés emerged in 1979 and, from then on, managed to gather a group of followers who follow them to this day.
The first part will be performed by the band Conjunto!Evite and Meu General.
Tickets are now on sale at the usual places and can be purchased individually, for 20 euros, or as a family package, for four people, for 70 euros.
There will also be discounts for those using the train to travel to the city. CP – Comboio de Portugal offers a 30% discount on round-trip Intercity, Inter-Regional and Regional trips to Porto, from the 13th to the 15th of September.
On the day of the concert there is a special ticket of 3.00 euros, for round trips on Porto’s urban trains, upon presentation of a concert ticket plus an identification document.
This show is supported by C.M. of Porto, through the municipal company Ágora.
Always confirm with the concert hall or promoter the conditions of access, confirmation of the date or time, ticket place of sale, price, and availability.
