Yolanda Sequeira and Teresa Bonvalot are second and third at the World Surf Games
Yolanda Sequeira is runner-up in the final of the World Surfing Games and Teresa Bonvalot finished third, two surfers who had yesterday guaranteed qualification for this summer’s Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The Portuguese competed in El Salvador in the final of the World Surfing Games this Sunday, with this qualification for the final, they guaranteed participation in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, just behind the Australian Sally Fitzgibbons.
The very experienced Australian won her third gold medal in this event organized by the International Surfing Association.
There are three Portuguese surfers participating in the Olympic Games that take place from July 23 to August 8, 2021, Teresa Bonvalot, Yolanda Sequeira and Frederico Morais.
