The Venezuelan singer-songwriter Yosune, who has lived in Portugal since 2017, presents “Lámpara (Mi Deseo),” the second single from the EP Madre Tierra, which will be released in the first half of November.
A theme that shows how the music and songs of the singer-songwriter are an extension of her soul: instinctive, human, and sensitive. “Lámpara (Mi Deseo)” speaks to us of loss, longing, and a distant and painful separation. But also of a tomorrow that can and should be harmonious, of hope and reunion. A portrait of the human experience. The search for a path that leads us to deepen the positive perception and connection among all of us, through the beauty of the words and emotions of this captivating song.
Taking as a starting point the story told by the lyrics of the song “Lámpara (Mi Deseo),” the video presents a retrospective of a lady’s life, bringing to mind childhood and the limitations that sometimes taint the purity and innocence of those very impactful years for all of us. The past is represented through black-and-white aesthetics, bringing to the forefront all the lyrics and sound of the song through beautiful images filmed in a single shot, sequences that tend to encourage the viewer’s attention and understanding through the mystery and complexity of human relationships.
In Madre Tierra, Yosune will tell and sing stories of a social and protest nature, inspired by Hispano-American music, singer-songwriter music, and urban music.
