Yosune presents “SER”

the first sample of the EP “Madre Tierra” that will be released this year

Yosune, composer and performer with a restless soul and universal spirit who has lived in Portugal since 2017, presents the first single “SER” from her next EP, which will be released this year: Madre Tierra, where she tells and sings stories of a social and protest nature, inspired by Spanish-American music, original songs and urban music.

The single “SER (Te Siento)” is a conversation between the soul and the body. A call to accept who we really are. An ambient and mysterious introduction that delves into the most intimate part of being, to give way to a groovy downtempo beat, trip-hop vibe, rich in melodies and inspiring lyrics of self-determination.

The song includes a rap, a language that Yosune found, which, although not the artist’s usual language, fits perfectly into the expression of her own feelings about being who she is despite criticism from others.

During this year he will release his new work, Madre Tierra, produced by Quico Serrano and which brings an appeal to our deepest freedom, a celebration of life and our brief passage on this planet, a compliment to the soil that sustains us all, an appeal to our divine feminine nature and a tribute to the mother who gives everything and asks nothing in return.

The project is presented in a trio format with Yosune on voice and Venezuelan cuatro, Andrés Pancho Tarabbia on percussion and Geraldo Gomes on cello.

At the beginning of April Yosune will present the video for the single “SER”.
