On the night of celebrating her birthday, Zara Tejo debuts, live, some songs from the new album “Ao Fado, aos Homens e aos Mulheres” at Lounge D at Casino Estoril.
It is a unique concert, full of special guests, colleagues from the artistic world and friends of Zara Tejo. The meeting is scheduled for next Saturday, January 27th, starting at 10 pm. Entry is free.
In a preview of her reunion with the visitors of Casino Estoril, Zara Tejo emphasizes: “I will always sing what is in my soul because the soul and the dream rule my life and whoever sings travels in the enchantment of their most beautiful dimension of being!”.
Casino Estoril thus welcomes Zara Tejo & Friends, on a night in which the singer presents her fifth album and recovers from other successes in her career, starting a new tour that already has numerous concerts scheduled in Portugal and abroad.
On a night of celebration, exclusively at Lounge D, compositions such as “Lágrima”, “Que Deus Me Perdoe”, “ Quando Eu Era Pequenina” or “Vem de Ti” will be highlighted.
Zara Tejo takes the stage at Lounge D accompanied by João Simão on Portuguese guitar, Nelson Oliveira on bass, Sid Saint on drums and percussion and maestro Mário Rui on piano. Some duets with Miguel Vidal will be highlighted.
Fado is the noble word for Zara Tejo although her musical sounds are quite broad, ranging from jazz to indie or folk, which expresses her versatility.
Remember that Zara Tejo did, in 2017 and 2018, her tour, “a música faz anos” from the album Eu sou tudo isto, classified as the Antena 1 album. It was a total of 17 concerts from north to south of the country, always with Antena 1 support in disseminating them.
At another high point in her career, Zara Tejo released, in 2021, the album, Quando penso em ti meu fado, followed by another tour that won over the public with more than 20 concerts, until it was interrupted by Covid-19.
The 27th of January is Zara Tejo’s birthday and she is having a party at home, returning to Lounge D where she has already performed in numerous concerts. It will be, once again, a concert full of memories and friends from around 30 years old singing around the world. Everyone is invited to a night of celebration with free entry.
